Garden Growth June6
Just finished placing the tomato plants (on the right and not all shown) and now our garden is complete.
The plants are coming up just fine and looking good. Not all the corn made it out of the ground, but I have more than I need and can transplant the crowded ones to the open spots.
We're all excited about the giant sunflowers. I have three rows of them, two on the left side and one on the right. They were awesome last time the Footes shared the garden and introduced them to us.
The blueberries on the left have loads of fruit. We have seven blueberry bushes and only one of them has zero blueberries. The strawberries mixed in between are all being eaten by slugs. Hopefully, the slug bait we spread out today will keep them away.
