Elise did something cute yesterday so while she was within my reach, I gave her a hug. When she stopped squeezing me back she said that she was sorry, but she finally made her decision. "I finally decided that I like Mom more than you. Sorry dad, but I still think you're the best dad in the world."
Then later yesterday afternoon, she took Carrie in her room by herself and gave her the joyous news.
